What Are Conservation Fees?
Every guest entering Kruger National Park pays a daily conservation fee — this goes directly towards protecting and preserving the park's wildlife and ecosystems. These compulsory fees are excluded from package prices and charged separately at SANParks' published rates.
The purpose of the compulsory conservation fees at Kruger National Park is to fund the day-to-day and long-term protection of South Africa's national park network, managed by South African National Parks. These fees are updated annually and are payable on or before entry is granted.
Conservation fees are payable in addition to your K-Nect KNP package price, at SANParks' published rates.
